Metis was born from a simple idea: the best learning happens when you’re doing something that excites you.
I’ve spent years teaching and tutoring students across different languages, backgrounds, and learning styles. And time after time, I saw the same thing: the best results came from people experimenting and building. That’s when people actually started to see ideas and concepts come to life, and I’ve seen it do a lot more for people than books and pop quizzes.
Why I started Metis
Growing up, most of what I learned came from projects I built myself, small ideas that turned into something I use in daily life. I wanted to bring that same experience to every student, no matter where they live or what resources they have.
That’s what Metis is all about: a space where kids can explore what inspires them, work on hands-on projects, and connect with others who share their curiosity.
